Near Miss

We didn't get the snow that was predicted. I came down pretty good yesterday morning then it turned to rain. What was left on the ground was heavy slush. The first day of winter isn't until tomorrow so there is still plenty of time for snow.
The weather guys get all excited. If I have to work, I'll get up a little early in case I have to dig out my car but I don't worry about how much is coming. Whatever we get, we get. I don't know how they predict how much is coming. It seems like a racket to me.
